1​5th April 2025- Thank you for choosing Whiston Willis Primary Academy for the start of your child’s formal education. If you have been allocated a place at Whiston Willis, we will contact you following the school’s return after the Easter break to make arrangements about the next exciting steps.

1​4th March 2025- School photograph day was a success today. Thank you to Mrs Smyth for her work organising this. We hope to have photos back to us with a quick turnaround.

1​2th March 2025- Can you support the PTA with their fundraising for Mother's Day. Please do send in £2 to enable your children to select a gift that they can bring home to share with you for Mother's Day.

1​4th Februray 2025- The PTA organised Valentine's Disco was an great success. Thank you for your support.

1​1th January 2025- Wade Deacon Trust has released a statement to personally thank all parents who have sent positive feedback and encouragement during the course of the week to thank school staff who have kept schools operating, even in the face of extremely challenging weather conditions.

1​3th December 2024- What a great week of nativity performances in Reception, Y1 and Y2. Thank you for your support and we hope you enjoyed the shows!

1​1th December 2024- A big thank you to our PTA volunteers and staff who made Christmas film night such a success!

1​3th November 2024- Well done to our two Y3 football teams who represented the school brilliantly at a tournament today. Some great play, sporting attitudes and amazing effort- Well done!

1​1th November 2024- Great to have Altru Drama with us today sharing their Anti-bullying performance with us. So many important messages for us to learn.

1​1th November 2024- Wade Deacon Trust has launched a consultation on admissions arrangements for pupils applying for school places for the academic year starting in September 2026, and beyond. F​or more information on the consultation, please click here.

6​th November 2024- Our Girls Football team represented the school exceptionally well and won two of three games played. They have a chance to qualify for the finals in the final round of fixtures!

1​st October 2024- Nursery flood- unfortunately our newly renovated nursery suffered from a flood yesterday. We have begun the clean up and are awaiting a deep clean to ensure all areas are safe and perfect for the children. Look out via the school app for updates.

2​5th September 2024- What a great performance from our Y3 pupils in their football competition at Finch Farm today. Great performances but an unfortunate 4-2 loss in the semi final. Well done!

20th September 2024 - What a fantastic week at Robinwood! Many thanks to all the staff who attended and ensured the pupils had a fantastic time with their friends growing confidence , resilience and teamwork.

16th September 2024- Our Y6 Children have set off on their residential to Robinwood this week. Hopefully the weather remains fair and they grow as individuals and as a team over the next few days!

9​th September- Great news that we are very fortunate to have financial support to help us to grow and develop our school further in the next twelve months.

16th July 2024-G​reat news that our school was selected as Knowsley School of the year 2024 at the Knowsley Education Awards this week. Further testament of the hard work we all play to ensure we provide our pupils with a great offer at Whiston Willis.
