Members of the Local Governing Body have been busy so far this term with a number of them attending training at school to consider the role of a governor in offering support and challenge to school leaders. They have also had an update on the new Education Inspection Framework to ensure they have a clear understanding of how a school is judged under the new framework.
We have also had a number of link governor visits and time has been spent with staff and around classes to consider learning, behaviour and personal development.
Some of our governors have also been involved in our Peer Review process led by NAHT and two other local headteachers who have spent two days reviewing the work we do in school.
If you would like to discuss becoming a Governor of our school, please click the link below to visit the Wade Deacon Trust website and complete the online form.
